Default Hubbard Horrific 100

Having decided my achy ribs weren't up to epic rocky climbing, but wanting an epic ride, I loaded up my guide (e.g. Garmin Edge 705) with the route and proceeded to attack the hills of the afore-named roadie route.

Thanks to Hubbard Bike for posting the route on their web site which made this possible.

It took me about 10 hours, end-2-end, with only three brief stops (two for resupply of water/etc and one for "nature").

Total was just over 102 miles, with over 10k climbing, 50mph(+) on the downhill recorded at some points.

My body woke me up early this morning to remind me how sore it was.

Why the soreness you ask? Well, here's why.... (click on images for links to full-size images, note that the full size map image is kind-of large) ...

If you want to follow along it yourself, with GPS, you can download the track-log at this link

For popping into Google Earth (or Google Maps), you can get the Google file at this link

I don't think i'll be biking much today.

*phew*

Who else has done this ride?
